The 3rd annual Asia Private Equity Forum (APEF) was held on January 16, 2013. The event, which was run in conjunction with the Asia Financial Forum 2013, was a huge success, drawing close to 400 participants from across the globe. Featuring 39 speakers who generously shared the latest industry developments and market information, the audience included more than 60 representatives from LP firms. Among the topics discussed were the private equity market in Greater China from the perspective of both limited and general partners, and the various markets across the region, including Indonesia and India. The event drew to a positive close with a cocktail party, offering participants a unique networking opportunity with their industry colleagues. HKVCA Gala Dinner 2013

The HKVCA’s 2013 Gala Dinner was held at the Hong Kong Country Club on January 15, 2013. The grand event, which was held the evening before the Asia Private Equity Forum, was attended by 200 members as well as noted guests from across the region. A highlight of the dinner was a special fashion show featuring five elegant yet fun models striking a pose in suitably unique costume. Indeed a wonderful time was had by all, catching up with old friends and meeting new colleagues from Hong Kong and around the world.
