Contribution of PE Industry to economy
In order to counter some negative perceptions in the market about private equity / buyouts, HKVCA plans to embark on promotion of the industry's role in helping companies grow, its contribution to domestic economy, raising the standards of corporate governance and culture in the market.
As a first step, HKVCA would be conducting a survey of its membership. The purpose is to gather information on portfolio companies so that research can be done on the performance of these companies relative to non-PE invested peers. The survey would be sent to members shortly.
We urge all members to complete the survey in order we can help the industry and your firm project its work of creating value in the companies and in the overall economy.
