Description of Business:
Pallet Pooling is urgently sought by the China retail sector to improve supply chain efficiency. The total China market is still “not served” but getting bigger day by day as retailers (both western and local) expand their stores nationwide. The business is so unique and capital intensive that there is only one global operator and very few experts in this field. Having started the Hong Kong pool six years ago and over 20 years sales and marketing experience in China, if financially supported, a profitable business could be built together.

AllFresh Technologies Ltd (Hong Kong)

Nature Business:China-based Manufacturing WFOE, favored industry

Funds required: US$1.4m sought for re-start, cleaning the slate. After 16 months of manufacturing in China, production was suspended at the end of November 2006. The company foundered on insufficient capital to handle growth while maintaining operational cash flow. It is now re-grouping with focus on the faster-turn domestic market. It has delivered its Vacuum Cooling Systems at prices ranging from $130k to $500k to Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the U.S. It has received almost a dozen RFQs from several countries since March 1 alone. Engineering is in place. Operating capital can open the gates. 5-year tax holidays intact.

Project Details:
AllFresh offers an agriculturally-oriented business plan: manufacturing in China, for sale in China, enhanced by an active international market. In March sessions, Beijing emphasized making post-harvest technology available to the agricultural community as part of stepped-up efforts to increase exports and distribute wealth back to the farm. AllFresh can deliver a fresh systems approach backed by proven Western technology to China’s technically lagging agribusiness sector. It offers several temperature management systems for paid cooling and shelf-life extension of large quantities of fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers.
