Launch of the Sustainable Development Fund

The Sustainable Development Fund (SDF) is open to applications from 6 September 2003.

The Fund has been established with a sum of HK$100 million to provide a central source of financial support for initiatives that aim to develop a strong public awareness of the concept of sustainable development and to promote sustainable practices in Hong Kong. Initially, a maximum of HK$10 million annually will be available for disbursement from the Fund. There will be two calls for applications each year. The deadline for the current round of applications will be 5:00 p.m. on Monday, 1 December 2003.
