NewQuest Capital Closes $316 Million Direct Secondary Fund in Asia

(WSJ) – NewQuest Capital Partners, which targets direct secondary deals in Asia, has raised $316 million for its second fund, ahead of the fund’s $300 million target, according to Managing Partner Darren Massara.
Hong Kong-based NewQuest had raised $215 million from anchor investors at its first close at the end of last year, and started talking to new investors in February for its second and final close.
